Redeeming the Time

What am I talking about? Work! I learned to dislike work at a very early age. Work was used as a discipline. If you don't do this or do that, if you don't behave you will have to . . . You fill in the blank. Mow the lawn, wash the truck, sweep the floor, do the dishes . . . whatever!

Do we still do that to our children today? It's no wonder they grow to hate work. (Webster's definition of work should be "Work is a disciplinary result of doing something wrong".) And I think we see that in Genesis 3 today don't we?
