The Willing Vessel

We are all vessels this morning, amen? But are we willing vessels? Mary was a willing vessel, used of God. She said 'yes' to God. Scripture tells us that she made the right decision. Joseph stood by her and she gave birth to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And even though her soul was pierced through (as the prophet Simeon prophesied), as she witnessed her son Jesus being rejected of man; beaten, abused, and hung on a cross to die. Her body, mind, spirit, and soul in anguish and agony. Yet, we never read that Mary threw in the towel. That she said, "Deal me out God"!
