As we celebrate today, our nations 'Declaration of Independence' . . . I'd like us to remember, to be reminded, that our Independence as a sovereign nation, the USA, our separation from King George, is based wholly and fully upon our absolute Dependence on 'thee' King of kings, our Lord of lords, Jesus. The One who has truly set us free, amen?
