Our children practiced hard and brought a production entitled "The Ultimate Gift" to our congregation on Sunday, December 18th. Centering on the gifts given by the Wisemen to Jesus, to the gifts given by Jesus to us (Praise, Worship, Joy, Hope, Love and Sharing), our children blessed the church and gave honor to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
What a great time of fellowship this year at our annual Christmas Campfire. We loved hearing the story of the birth of Christ told by Denny Bettencourt, followed by singing Christmas Carols and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. And who could resist Hot Chocolate and Hot Apple Cider???
Our church packed 216 boxes for Operation Christmas Child this year. What a joy to be able to bless so many children that may not otherwise have heard the Good News of the Gospel!
Every year our Mission Team holds a yard sale to raise funds to support local and foreign ministries. This year over $7,000 was raised thanks to the generosity of our community! Here are some pictures of our team preparing for the event.
We were delighted to welcome Dr. Alan Shore from Chosen People Ministries to lead us in our Annual Seder Dinner. We had a wonderful teaching and great fellowship!
What a beautiful way to welcome in the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We had our first Sunrise Service (but not our last!)
The Robertson "Family" of Duck Dynasty presented a fun-filled vacation bible school based on the parables of Jesus. We learned memory verses and songs, made special crafts, had wonderful snacks and lots of fun with games and activities. Our last day was filled with lots of water fun!
We were blessed to take 7 middle schoolers, along with 3 chaperones to Rock n Water Christian Camp. This is an amazing camp and the kids had a wonderful time. The first day was filled with team building games, the 2nd day was rock climbing and repelling and then a creek walk, the third day was canyoneering and the final day finished with white water rafting. Each evening we gathered around a campfire with our wonderful counselor Shelby to worship, play games and hear a teaching from the bible. Every child (and adult) was touched by the Lord and we can't wait to go back!
Our Junior Church did a terrific job presenting "Twas the Night Before Christmas", or as we all learned "Twas the Night Before Christ's Birth".
