ACE Weeds and Grass

Habakkuk 3:11-18

Always a Christ like Example - picking the weeds from the grass.

Time is running short, many point to the understanding that we are in the end times.  I believe that we are.

Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows,  at the lightning of your flashing spear.  In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations.

Soon the Lord will make the Sun and Moon dim and shake the earth to it's core. God has promised to bring justice to the sin on earth.  All of the earth will see His justice.  Starting for His Son and then with His Church.

You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot. Selah

God has given His Son the task to deliver the saved elect.  For all others He will judge for their sins into the lake of fire.  Jesus will crush Satan and strip him of all his earthly powers.  Satan will have nothing left.

With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding.

In the end Satan will bring his army forward to deceive the Church, looking to collect those who are weeds in the garden.  God will prevent Satan from taking that  what belongs to God's Son.  God will protect the green grass.

You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters.

Since the time of Christ the Church has been free to save unto Christ.  Great multitudes have come to His saving grace.  But now times are short.

I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled.  Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us.

For those that hear and see times are fearful.  With great anticipation we await our Savior's return.    We know what is about to come.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen  and no cattle in the stalls,

The Deceiver lies and the world listens.  Only a few souls are left to be saved.  Soon Sin will take all that is left.  There will be no more for the storehouse.

yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Yes Lord come!  We are battle weary but with joy we serve.

Amen
